Restrict Incoming Requests to Your Site with Merlin CDN
Merlin CDN allows you to manage your distributions in every aspect. You may add restrictions for accessing your website by enabling the restrictions status. You can manage your restrictions by creating a whitelist or a blacklist.
Whitelist restriction will let visitors only from the chosen countries. Blacklist will prevent visitors to reach your content from the chosen countries. It is recommended to choose the restriction type depending on the number of the countries that you want to give permission for access.
In order to enable restrictions, simply go to your distribution and update the restriction status as shown below.
Decide the type of restriction as Whitelist or Blacklist, then arrange the countries.
If you want your distribution to be accessible from a single or a few countries, you may use the Whitelist option to select only the ones you need to allow users to access.
If you want your distribution to be accessible by most of the countries except a few, you may use the Blacklist option to select only the ones you need to block.
